Week 1

First off, let me thank all of you early backers for helping us hit 41% in the first week of the campaign! I'm excited to see many familiar names coming back for the 2nd book, and want to welcome all of the new readers. I can only create with your support, and seeing this book do well in such a hard time for many people, leaves me speechless. Thank you so much! 

I will be revealing a special new sticker that will included in all physical reward packages soon, and we have already started planning potential stretch goals in case we overfund, so check back for those.

Today I also want to feature NINJA BEAR #1 by Enrica Jang

Ninja Bear is the story of a little bear, trained as  a ninja, on a journey to confront the devious Black Mage, and avenge his mentor. On the way, Ninja  Bear meets weird creatures, explores amazing places, and occasionally  saves the day.

She was kind enough to send the first issue of her wonderful series to be included in the Indie Digital Bundle for all backers. I haven't read that many comics to my 2 year old son yet, but we read this through the other day, and he was hooked! It's cute, silly, and highly entertaining. As soon as we finished the first issue, we were both ready to read the next one. 

The complete first volume of Ninja Bear is currently on Kickstarter right now. I highly recommend this seres, and I hope you will join me as a backer. Kickstarter is usually full of comics and graphic novels for adults, but need more original comics for kids. This one deserves more attention.

Alright, alright. I know these are my books, but I think I should feature all of the awesomeness that is Village Comics before I dive into all of the other creators we have collected together in this Indie Bundle.
